The days ahead seem so uncertain.

I desire to feel in control of the upcoming days.

That is not happening though.

Life could go in many different directions but right now the way seems hidden.

I tried to make all my plans but the Lord is reminding me that He is the one who is directing my steps.

Life can seem so confusing at times but every detail of my life is still planned out by the Lord.

I wonder if I have ruined God’s plans for my life but even my failures cannot thwart His perfect plan.

Even in the times I feel most afraid, the Lord is still my good shepherd who is leading me for His name’s sake.

He quiets my heart with His love, He restores hope in my heart.

The Lord comforts me with His goodness and grace. 

I may not know the way but I do know the One who knows every step along the way forward.

That is enough, for everything about who God is remains certain.

He does have a good plan that is unfolding exactly according to His sovereign kindness.

I can face an uncertain future with an all-knowing, unchanging God.
