Change is possible.

I know, change sometimes seems anything but possible.

Our actions and words can often seem stuck in a deep rut.

Our thoughts and motivations appear to be stuck where we don’t want them to be.

Change seems too hard at times.

The very patterns we hate in ourselves seem to be on a never-ending cycle.

The things we do want to do never seem to happen with any regularity.

Change seems too slow often.

Why is the battle so long and intense?

Are we making any progress?

But our Savior brings change in His perfect timing.

If we are in Christ, we are a new creation with a new heart.

By the grace of God, He is working in us that which pleases Him.

Every time we stumble and fall, God’s mercy is further revealed as He picks us up again.

The Lord’s kind comfort comes every time we grieve how far short we fall from His perfection.

In our discouragement, He is our hope.

He patiently teaches us to say no to the worldly passions within and yes to the good works that lead to abundant life.

Our Savior is so faithful to send reminders along the way to show us we are not alone on this long narrow road. Our God will not give up on us.

One day He will present us to the Father;  we will be made like Him when we see His face and it will all be for the praise of His glorious grace.

Change is possible.

Change will happen because it is impossible to walk with Jesus and not be changed.
