Oh what a joy it is to serve so kind of a Savior.

What a delight it is to give in response to all that I have been given.

I don’t work to secure my acceptance before God because Jesus was forsaken in my place.

I don’t strive for my own righteousness because I have already been given the perfect righteousness of Jesus the moment I called upon His name to be saved.

Why do I ever hesitate to live every part of my life for Jesus?

Those who trust and obey Him are blessed;

For it is truly more blessed to give than to receive.

Yet, the truth is I’ve already been given abundantly more than I deserve,

So much more than I could ever give away.

Grace and peace for my past,

Strength and purpose for the present,

And a bright, enduring hope for the future.

We all have our own giftings and opportunities.

The Lord has given us all a role to play, a place to grow and to flourish.

In His infinite wisdom, He knits us together in love and uses us as He deems best.

May we bring to God all that we are and ask Him to use us for the glory of His name. 

This is the pathway to true and lasting joy.

We are all unworthy servants but through the mercy of the Lord, all the broken pieces of our lives can be made into something beautiful.

Oh let us live to hear the words, “well done good and faithful servant.”

Through Christ alone, we can enter eternity and enjoy the rewards of heaven forever.

All because Jesus came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
